How to use the bench (mouse, touch, or keyboard)
- Zoom: drag the zoom slider, scroll over the picture, pinch on a touch screen, or press Z / X. Zooming in on a flask or beaker opens a lens into the liquid, down to the particles.
- Time: Play runs the bench (dissolving, heating, cooling, the oxygen meter). Speed goes from ×0.1 (slow motion) to ×5. Bench time is sped up; the amounts are real.
- Step mode: the bench waits. Press → (or Next event) to move exactly one particle event: one ion pair dissolving or crystallizing, one O₂ molecule leaving.
- Look closer: point at (or tap) any equipment or particle to see what it is. Tap a flask to focus the lens on it.
- Keys: Space play / pause · → next event · R reset · Z / X zoom · H help.
