How to use the bench (mouse, touch, or keyboard)
- Zoom: drag the zoom slider, scroll over the picture, pinch on a touch screen, or press Z / X. Zoom goes from the whole cross-section, to a region, to a station up close. Pick the station with the buttons under the picture.
- Time: Play runs deep time. Speed goes from ×0.1 (slow motion) to ×5. The clock in the corner shows how much time has passed.
- Next event: jumps the clock to the next thing that happens to your tagged grain, one process at a time.
- Tag a grain: tap any rock in the cross-section (Explore) to tag a grain there and follow its passport.
- Keys: Space play / pause · → next event · R reset · Z / X zoom · H help.
