How to use the bench (mouse, touch, or keyboard)
- Stations: pick a station above the picture (or press 1–6): Fossils, Anatomy, Molecules, Map, Trees, Evidence board.
- Animations: Play / Pause (Space) the animations. ×0.1 slows them right down; Step (→) plays exactly one step: one brush stroke, one bone group, one jump of the alignment, one branch of a tree.
- Digging: drag across the rock to brush it away, or use Brush this layer (keyboard: ↑ / ↓ choose a layer, B brushes).
- Look closer: zoom with the buttons, the scroll wheel, a pinch, or Z / X; drag with two fingers (or the right mouse button) to look around. Point at (or tap) anything to see what it is.
- Keys: Space play / pause · → one step · R reset · Z / X zoom · H help.
