How to use the bench (mouse, touch, or keyboard)
- Build: click (or tap) a monomer in the bins to join it to your molecule. Water leaves at every new bond and drops into the tray.
- Break: choose the Break tool, then click a bond: a water molecule comes back and splits it (hydrolysis).
- Turn the molecule: drag it (or use the arrow keys). Zoom with the wheel, a pinch, or Z / X.
- Look closer: point at (or tap) an atom, a bond or a monomer to see what it is.
- Show: 1 ball-and-stick · 2 space-filling · 3 icons · 4 structural formula.
- Keys: Space play / pause · → next step (step mode) · R reset · Z / X zoom · H help.
