How to use the bench (mouse, touch, or keyboard)
- Record: set up the motion in the panel on the right, then press ● Record (Space). The graphs build while the object moves. Space pauses and resumes.
- One reading at a time: ⏯ Step (→) takes the next reading slowly: the pulse goes out, echoes back, and the distance is worked out.
- After a run: with Examine, drag across the graphs (or use ← / → on the graph) to scrub through the run. Select a time interval to fit it, find the area or the statistics. Tangent shows the slope at one point.
- Zoom: − / +, the slider, scrolling, pinching, or Z / X.
- Keys: Space record / pause · → one reading · R new run · Z / X zoom · H help.
